Role description
  • Design efficient cloud data pipelines to turn structured and unstructured data into information and knowledge
  • Application of agile working methods and definition of technical standards
  • Work in a multi-functional team with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Leadership
  • (Further) development and realization of Golden Eye's technology and product based on customer feedback in close coordination with team
  • Design and implementation of software as well as DevOps processes
  • Support for junior colleagues to create clean and maintainable code
Key requirements
  • At least three years of professional experience in full-stack engineering & operations as well as in the development of cloud-based systems
  • Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics or a related course of studies
  • Extensive practical experience with Amazon Web Services and its application in the corporate context
  • Sound knowledge of current technologies in the Cloud and Big Data environment (e.g. Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker, Neo4J, ElasticSearch, Spark)
  • Several years of professional experience in at least two programming languages (e.g. Java, Scala, C#, Python) and very good knowledge of design and architecture patterns
  • Desirable: Good knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Desirable: Knowledge of machine learning procedures and quantitative data analysis methods
  • Comfortable in communicating research results to non-technical colleagues and clients 
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
